The annual International Polo Series is held 6 miles north of downtown Newport on Route 138 in Portsmouth on the 100-acre historic Glen Farm, which was once part of an original 800-acre manorial farm. The farm borders the Vanderbilt Family Oakland Farm. The thunder of the horses and skilled riders turns will excite you with competitors from England, France, Spain, Ireland, Costa Rica, Argentina and the Dominican Republic among those in action. The matches are held most Saturdays from June-September, generally at 5p, but check the Web site for the schedule. Admission: Adults USD10, Children (15 & under) Free.
