Apple Picking

It's one of my favorite things to do!! Apple picking time is here, so get out there and enjoy it :o) There are some places to go right on the island,

Rocky Brook Orchard
997 Wapping Road
Middletown, RI

U-PICK hours: Saturday - Sunday: 10 - 4:30

Families are always welcome. Many trees are even low enough for toddlers to pick. Bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I think that we are going to give this place a try this year, seems like a great place and their website has lots of interesting details about different types of apples. They have 45 varieties of apples, including many rare ones!

Last two years Jamie and I have gone apple picking at Sweet Berry and had a fun time. They also have pies, cider and applesauce for sale inside.
